NEW GREENHOUSE

With our new greenhouse expansion completed we are busy adding inventory,  mostly our smaller plants. We are starting thousands of new plants in our lab and purchasing some interesting new varieties from other growers as well.

The new greenhouse nearly doubles our capacity to grow plants. It has high efficiency heating, and an automatic shade system that keeps light optimal. It also provides some heat retention at night. Growing better and more efficiently is our goal. We're already seeing results.

NEW POTS

Customers will soon be seeing many of our plants in a new European style pot.  A couple of years ago while visiting in Europe we saw a new style of orchid growing pot. It is a unique 12 cm size (nearly 5 inch) as deep as the usual 6 inch and with better drainage. We are now using those pots in our own production with excellent results. The plants do just as well or better. We save a little on potting materials. Our customers that have seen them are happy with the new pots. The designers like them because they can put multiple plants into a container more easily. Consumers like them because they take up less space and the plants are much less likely to be overwatered. Everyone wins!
